We recommend arrival by using “Bybanen”, Bergen’s light-rail system, which runs between the airport and the city centre. *

For those of you staying at the Hotel Moxy, the Bybanen stop Florida is the closest to the academy venue at the DNB V-Building in Solheimsviken, as well as NIORD’s offices in the Skipet building and the Hotel Moxy – all within two minutes’ walk of each other.

You will need to buy a ticket in advance of boarding from the ticket machines located on the platform. Bybanen uses approx. 35 min. from Flesland to Florida.

Accommodation

NIORD recommends staying at the hotel Moxy, which is the closest hotel to the venue. If Moxy is fully booked, there might sometimes be opportunities for a room at Moxy via other hotel booking sites.

Another accomodation opportunity close to the event is Citybox Danmarksplass, however, if you prefer to stay in a more traditional hotel then Scandic Ørnen is the closest (10.min walk). And even closer to the city center (10 min. tram ride) there are other hotels, e.g. Hotel Norge by Scandic and No13.
