NIORD Claims Executive Lukas Carbol gained impressive experience in handling Renewables, Oil & Gas (operators and contractors), Builder’s Risk, and Special Risk claims for more than five years at Norwegian Hull Club, plus has three years’ experience of adjusting in these fields.
As a member of the Global Energy & Specialty claims team, Lukas was the first point of contact for Offshore Wind and Renewables claims since the beginning of The Club’s involvement within the segment in 2018.
Lukas worked for two years in a law firm in the Czech Republic, prior to moving to Norway and switching to Marine Insurance. In addition to a Master’s in Law from Masaryk University, Brno , Lukas holds an LL.M. Master of Law from the University of Oslo.
He has completed courses in Maritime Law and Marine Insurance Claims by Richards Hogg Lindley, the Nordic Marine Insurance Education Programme by CEFOR, Offshore Wind Farm Technology: Design, Installation and Operation at TU Delft Wind Energy Institute, plus Managing Maritime Emergencies by SMIT Salvage.
